COLT STARTING

Getting the first 60 days on your horse are the most important days in his training. Whether
you want your horse trained western or english, all the same principles apply. Horses are
started under saddle using resistance free horsemanship methods to create a more willing horse.
Amanda believes that making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult is the foundation
principle to communicating with a horse. The moment your horse steps on the property, his or her
learning begins. Amanda will not only work with your horse, but also encourages the owner to
come out and learn as well.

$600/mo with 3+ month commitment

SHOW PREP/TUNE UP & POST 6O DAY TRAINING

Once your horse is comfortable with the fundamental building blocks of being under saddle,
he is ready to move on to more complex maneuvers that will be used on the ranch or in the
show pen. As training progresses, they will be introduced to disciplines such as reining, ranch
riding, ranch roping, trail, and cow work. In this program, we will work on fine tuning all the
basics, and introducing more complex maneuvers such as lead changes, sliding stops,
rollbacks, and spins.

$675/mo (includes full board)
$600/mo with 3 month commitment
Also includes 4 free lessons before you take your horse home

Show fees are $75/day plus expenses

Confidence is key when riding a horse and Amanda will help get you there. One-on-one
lessons with you and your horse are available where you will learn to be more confident,
relaxed and comfortable while in the saddle.

$45/hour private lesson at your farm
$30/hour private lesson at Vessell Farm
(add $15 if you bring your horse)

ON-SITE TRAINING (currently not available)

Now offering on site training sessions at the comfort and convenience of your own farm or
boarding facility. All services including colt starting, tune ups and lessons are available.
Discounts for multiple horses/owners.

1 horse- $45/session
2 horses- $35/session
3 or more horses- $30/session

$30 flat rate at Vessell Farm plus $15 Haul-in Fee

Each session will be customized to fit the owners and horses needs and will last up to an
hour depending on the progress.
