| Welcome! Here at AJ Performance Horses, located in Newnan, GA, we work to promote the all around working ranch performance horse. Horses are started under saddle the natural way in which they learn to relax , therefore gaining confidence. As training progresses, they will be introduced to fundamental disciplines such as reining, ranch riding, ranch roping, trail, and cow work. Trainer Amanda Johnson has over 15 years experience in the horse industry and also holds a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, so you can be assured that your horse will be well taken care of . She has studied and ridden with several World Class Trainers and Horsemen, such as Tom Curtin, Dell Hendricks and Tim McQuay, and combines all of their methods into a unique style of Western Performance and Natural Horsemanship. She participates in several associations such as National Reining Horse Association, American Ranch Horse Association, Southeastern Buckaroo Association, and American Stock Horse Association. |
